Really Glenn Beck? You are Like MLK?

When we are all trying to reflect on Martin Luther King Jr. and the greatness of his life. His accomplishments for not just black people but for all people. Glenn Beck somehow makes it about him.




First of all Jared Loughner was not a liberal. He may have not been a conservative either. He was straight up crazy end of story. But let's say he was a liberal, how many Liberals do you know who are viciously anti-government, tell people to invest in gold, warn of the looming "One World Currency", anti-abortion, believes the government is trying to control us through proper grammar, and thinks his local college is performing the equivalent of "genocide"? My bet is less than 0.

But the offensiveness of Glenn Beck comparing himself to Martin Luther King Jr. is shameful. It would be like comparing George Mureson to Michael Jordan.. Or George W. Bush to Abraham Licoln..

The Liberals like John Kennedy, Robert Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson were the one's that FOUGHT FOR MARTIN.. And the assholes Conservatives and Libertarians like Barry Goldwater FOUGHT AGAINST MARTIN..

Everything Glenn Beck stands for is everything Martin stood against.

The same man who in the same video stated that "Malcolm X and the Black Panthers were the reason for the violence".  His ignorance of history is a problem, and makes his comparison of himself to MLK even more disgusting.

The same guy who stated that the Three-Fifths Compromise helped to end slavery a few weeks ago. (as I detailed in this blog post)

The same guy who called Barack Obama (a guy who is half-white) Racist against white people


Asserted that there was no Slavery in 1790. And white's wanted integrated churches

They got the facts absolutely wrong.. First, the churches that were integrated (very few were), the black people in the church couldn't sit with white people. They sat in the balconies away from white people. Richard Allen created his own "All Black Denomination" because he was not allowed to practice with white people. These Black Churches also would educated their members, and have the equivalent of today's after school programs because the were not allowed to have these from the white denomination churches, or society itself. How he went from integrated churches to a Civil Rights Leader being the one who was racist is astonishing. Only a lunatic could see history and construct it into that fuck fest of ignorance.

If Martin Luther King Jr. was still alive he would have hated this guy. Glenn Beck is the same type of person who tried to STOP MLK from getting racial equaility. He also was the same type of person who tried to prevent slavery from being ended. 

Glenn Beck show some respect to Martin Luther King because you are nothing like him, and you never will be.
